Chocolate Chip Banana Cake

Preheat your oven to 350F. In a large bowl combine your bananas and mix until smooth. Add in your melted butter, oil, sugar and brown sugar. Mix and add in your eggs. Mix well then add in your greek yogurt and vanilla. Once your wet ingredients are combined set them to the side. In a separate bowl mix your flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add to your wet ingredients and fold to combine. Add your milk and mix together before adding your chocolate chips. Fold until smooth then add your batter to 2 lined 9” cake tins. Bake on 350F for 28-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out smooth. Allow them to cool completely then ice with chocolate frosting.

To make Chocolate ganache: Add your chocolate chips to a bowl. Heat your heavy cream in the microwave until hot to the touch (about 75 seconds). Place your heavy cream over your chocolate chips and allow this to sit for five minutes. Stir until all of your chocolate is melted then set aside for 20 minutes.

To make Buttercream: Add your butter to a stand mixer and mix on high speed for five minutes. Add in your powdered sugar and milk and mix for seven minutes on high speed until light and fluffy. Enjoy!
