If you have a sourdough starter you need to try this delicious fluffy sourdough! This recipe details how to make a sourdough loaf from scratch, including mixing, stretch and folds, rising, shaping, and baking.
Start by mixing your starter and water until combined. Add in your flour and salt and mix to combine. Cover and set aside for 1 hour. After 1 hour, do 1 round of stretch and folds. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes and complete your 2nd round of stretch and folds. Continue your stretch and folds every 30 minutes for a total of 4 rounds. Once your 4th round of stretch and folds are done, cover and let rise on the counter for 4-6 hours or until doubled. Once your dough has doubled, shape it and place it in the refrigerator for 2 hours. After your second bulk rise in the refrigerator, preheat your Dutch oven on 450F for 30 minutes. Bake covered for 35 minutes and then uncovered for an additional 15 minutes. Enjoy!
