Strawberry Cookie Skillet

Start by preheating your oven to 350F. In a 9” cast iron skillet add your strawberries, butter and sugar. Mix and place in the oven for 10 minutes. In a large bowl add your butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar. Mix until combined then add in your egg and vanilla extract and mix again. Add your milk and mix before adding your dry ingredients. Fold until your dough forms. Using a cookie scoop, scoop your dough onto your strawberries. Do your best to spread out the dough and make an even layer. Place your strawberry cookie skillet in the oven on 350F for 28-30 minutes. Allow your cookie skillet to cool for 10 minutes. Top with vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
